About

Joe WatersJoe Waters is taking Bellarmine’s soccer boys to Ireland over spring break to kick footballs and score goals, and Seamus and I get to tag along. I suppose there’s an educational component too, but we’ll try not let that get in the way. This blog is all about chronicling the adventure for all the good people at home who want to follow us as we experience Ireland with the lads, one pint at a time.

Some ground rules: Everything you read on this blog will be true, unless we make it up. And why would we do that? We might make stuff up if the day wasn’t exciting enough for us or if we forget what we did. You’ll never know the difference anyway, unless one of the kids rats us out. We tend to be insensitive, politically incorrect dolts, so if you’re easily offended, just skip the words and just look at the pictures. We’ll have plenty of pics from where the boys go and what they see. We’ll also blog about the Irish, their football, beer, whatever else we happen upon during our travels and your misbehaved children.

So, visit us every day between April 3 and April 12 as we have a frolic and detour across Ireland with Joey Waters’ Blue & White Army as they visit Limerick, Dublin, Galway and all points in between.

Now, here’s King John’s Castle in Limerick for ya:
